How do i set my default downloading location back to my internal hard drive?

Recently my external hard drive has stopped working, so I've wanted to download some programs onto my internal hard drive. However, the installation wont work because it is constantly looking for my F drive, which is not even plugged in.

Its not like I have the choice of where to download, the error happens before I even have that option.

How do i tell my computer that the external hard drive is gone? Or set a default downloading location?How do i set my default downloading location back to my internal hard drive?
Hi there,

To set your files to download to your desktop, you must configure it to do so. If you're using Internet Explorer, it should already download to where ever you select it to. If you're using Mozilla FireFox, follow the steps below:

1. Click ';Tools.';

2. Then click ';Options.';

3. A the ';Main'; tab, where it states ';Save files to'; click ';Browse'; and chose where you want to save to.

That should now download to where ever it's pointed to. If you want it to ask you every time where it should download to select the ';Always ask me where to save files'; option.
