How can I make black centered default layouts?

I'm making a default layout, but I need the center to be black, instead of white. Any ideas?How can I make black centered default layouts?
What software? Because most of them let you just invert (control/command+i) if it's a blend or gradient, and obviously you can switch your default b/w around (x) as well.How can I make black centered default layouts?
