How do I set a default wifi network for my MacBook Pro?

I have two overlapping wifi networks in my room. Is there a way to set my Macbook to default to one?How do I set a default wifi network for my MacBook Pro?
1. Click on the Apple icon in the top left corner.

2. Click on System Preferences.

3. Click Network (Globe icon, third row)

4. Click on the Advanced button.

5. You will see a list of preferred networks. Click and drag to change the order of the networks. The default network is on top.

6. Use the [+] and [-] buttons to add and delete networks (you probably only need 2)
