How to reset Microsoft Word spell check to default settings completely.?

I am using Microsoft Word 2003. Just recently the spelling and grammar check has not been working effectively. It is completely missing misspelled words that are not in the custom dictionary and that do not have alternative spellings. Is there a way to restore the spelling/grammar check to default settings? When I look at the settings, they look as though they are default. Thanks! How to reset Microsoft Word spell check to default settings completely.?

And, if you think there is a serious error, you can go to the add/remove menu and do a repair to Office. How to reset Microsoft Word spell check to default settings completely.?
You can configure settings in Spelling and Grammar tab in Word to your liking.

In MS Word

%26gt; Click Tools, Options

%26gt; Choose Spelling and Grammar Tab

There are individual configurations you can select from under each category in this tab. I believe there is even a program Default Reset option you might want to try in an effort to have your Word work effectively again.
