Currently my default location is C: and its completely full. Whoever uses my PC installs the programs in C: so I want to change the default drive for installation of new programs. How do you change the default location of the drive where your programs are installed in Windows XP?
take a look at this site, it should do what you need to do.
it does involve changing things in the registry so be careful!

hope that helps...How do you change the default location of the drive where your programs are installed in Windows XP?
I'm not so sure you can with all programs. I know some programs can be installed %26amp; run from any folder; others MUST be installed in the Programs or WINDOWS folder to run properly. It might be easier to buy a larger hard drive.
