right click on video or music files and select properties and click open with wma from options and apply as defaultHow do I make Windows media player my default video player not Quicktime?
Right click the file and choose something like `Open with...` then choose the program you want to open it with and click the button that says something along the lines of `always use the selected program for this type of file`.

Finder, Windows Explorer, Nautilus, Thunar and various other file managers all have a similar way of doing this so it should be more or less the same regardless of your OS.
