How do you change the tab default in Opera browser to open in background tabs?

I went under the preferences part in Opera to set the tab preferences so that when I click on a tab, it automatically opens in a background tab. However I couldn't find an option for this. Is there anyway to set this default or am stuck always clicking back on my original page each time I click on a link?How do you change the tab default in Opera browser to open in background tabs?
I'd love to know this :). Currently I right click, and click open in background tab.
